Your feedback on IWD Derby 2015

Thank you to all who celebrated with us in Derby’s Market Place to mark International Women’s Day on Saturday 7th March. We need your feedback to evaluate the event, plan for next year and capture outcomes to inform funders and sponsors – please complete our quick online survey before 3rd April 2015.

Please ask anyone else you know who came along to complete the survey too. If you know someone who attended but who does not use the internet, you can also help them to complete the survey or they can call us on 0791 368 0088 to give feedback over the phone. Thank you.

Read local women’s #makeadifference stories for #womensdayderby

As part of our festival and 2015 theme ‘make a difference’ we asked local women to share examples of ways that they make a difference to inspire others. We put them in a magazine along with info on the volunteers behind the festival, #HeForShe statements from men supporting IWD, and a list of inspiring campaigns to get involved in. With thanks for graphic design by students at Burton & South Derbyshire College and kind printing support from Mercia Image.

Please note that the magazine includes some difficult themes such as abuse and violence but with an uplifting tone of survival and moving forwards.
